Club Update #29

4/4/2015

Read here for some league position outcomes, some well done messages, training update over Easter and some info about the end of season awards evening......

PERFORMANCE
Here's the outcomes of the leagues we know about following the weekend activities! last weekend.

Junior leagues - U14A & U16 both win regional leagues and qualify for nationals. U14B are runners up in top U14 league in WY. U12A finish league leaders in WY and qualify for regional tournament.  U12B are 6th in top WY league, finishing above other A teams. U11 not yet concluded, but looks as though we will be second and sixth. Brilliant performance across a juniors, not to mention our real youngsters who are training on a Sunday but who aren't yet old enough to play in matches.
Seniors - in regional league we finished in 4th, WY seniors second in top league. Northern not yet concluded, but fighting for a placing. In the England Netball Premier 1, which is top league in country, we finished 6th. So again, good performances across seniors too.

Yorkshire Jets - massive congratulations to our players and coaches at Yorkshire a jets, clinching their Top 4 slot last night with an 11 point win against Team Bath. So, a semi final against Surrey or Thunder on 18th April and then play offs on 25 April at the Copper Box. Major achievement, well done.

Some of our U12 performed as great ball patrol at the Jets match vs Bath this week. Next week our U14 are in the Spotlight match before the Celtic Dragons match. Good luck to them as they play Humberside Academy as match practice ready for Nationals.

England U17s  - well done to the following people who were successful at last week's trial and will be attending England Camp next week. Rosie Harris, Imogen Allyson, Claudia Heath, Lexy Shipley and Hannah Gorman.
