PERFORMANCE
Not a bad weekend at the office, starting with Seniors. Big win for WY seniors against Shipley; great win for our Premier against Turnford; and a very good win for our young Northern side against Brigg. Solid performances across the board, well done all. In Juniors, our U14A and U16 teams both won key games to ensure they qualified for the Regional Round after Xmas and encounter to qualify for Nationals. Our U14B lost, but learned a lot and are doing well in the top WY league, promising for the phase of the league after Xmas.
RULES
Please remember to keep a note of quarters played, especially for those playing between senior leagues. If you get selected for a match you're not eligible for, please say so! Remember, you should be familiar with the rules of leagues you are playing in!
ENGLAND ROSES
As we're in the middle of a test series, it is worth encouraging club members to go to Liverpool on 2 February when England play New Zealand. Although this is a Thursday and athletes I'll miss training, it is worth the opportunity to see a game live (especially Silver Ferns) and learn from that.
LOOKING AHEAD
Not many matches left before Xmas now. WY Seniors have finished, both U14&16s have finished. Next weekend sees all 3 x U12 play, plus Northern league against the top team Chevrons, and Premier play at home against Viper10. Go and support the Prem Team if you can, 11:30 start at Beckett next Sunday. Senior Regional play on 18 December as well!
Training times are on the website. Last Tuesday session is 13 Dec, last Thursday session is 15 Dec, last Sunday is 18 Dec. Training commences 3rd Jan, 5th Jan and 8th Jan respectively. Matches commence 8 Jan, with a netball nights on 4 Jan! Junior matches will be on the website between Xmas and New Year once we get them, including our u11s entering HiFive!!
