PERFORMANCE
No Senior games this Sunday but our West Yorkshire Seniors were out on Saturday playing Harrogate Phoenix and winning convincingly 55-26 no point for Phoenix as we won by more than half score, which is a good result in that league. Our young guns in Netball Nights had another great win midweek! Netball Nights continues to be an excellent development ground for our young players. In the juniors section where many teams had two games there were some big wins including several matches with more than double the score of our opposition. U16(1) beat Huddersfield Giants 47-10 and YMCA 68-14, racking up some really big goal differences! The U16(2) meanwhile took another two wins against Yorkshire Terriers 46-23 and Wakefield Wildcats 41-20. The U14(1) team beat YMCA 41-8 and Yorkshire Terriers 50-6. Our U14(2) (mostly U13s) team beat Wakefield Wildcat 31- 21 and lost to Huddersfield Giants 22-14. The U12(3) on a winning streak and top of their league beat Wakefield Phoenix (2) 17-11. Well done all teams and coaches.
KIT
Our admin volunteers religiously send out kit instructions on team sheets every week. Please comply with club expectations by taking note. Everyone should have a black match day bra and fully covering black undershorts. And on the kit note, only LANC kit is to be worn for training including sweatshirts representative kit in particular will be frowned upon.
GOOD LUCK
Wishing good luck to all our athletes at Great Britain Colleges Trials this week. SPECTATE West Yorkshire Seniors will be playing Wakefield Wildcats at Whitcliffe Mount School on Saturday 10.15am for any aspiring players to watch, although viewing is limited at courtside.
PHOTOGRAPHS
There have been some great crazy photos this week, the U16s are winning at the moment can your team beat it?? The competition is open until the last match of the year so keep them coming. Anything goes.
ROLL OF HONOUR With thanks to Keeley and our age group admins, I am pleased to list the roll of honour for this season (Senior, U16 and U14). Fingers crossed we haven’t missed anyone or anything. U12 will follow later.
